Bulago Island

I spent several days immersed in a small fishing village on an island in Lake Victoria, Uganda. The community granted me full access to their daily rhythms. At sunset, I joined the fishermen as they set their lines, and next day at sunrise, I documented them retrieving their catch. During the days, the elders gathered to share homemade liquor and play pool.
